Bio

Zachary S. Ryan joined the Firm in January 2019 and became a Partner in January 2021. Mr. Ryan practices primarily in real estate, general business, corporate law, and banking, with a particular focus on commercial real estate transactions and corporate mergers and acquisitions. He regularly advises clients on complex real estate matters including large scale portfolio transactions, entity and partnership structure, commercial lease negotiation, acquisitions and dispositions, and landlord/tenant disputes. Mr. Ryan also has experience drafting documents for asset-based real estate lending with a focus on commercial construction loans and homebuilder lines of credit. His clients include individuals, real estate developers, investment companies, local and regional businesses, regional and national QSR franchisees, and regional banks.

Mr. Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Baylor University in 2010 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2014. He began his career with the national real estate investment sales firm Marcus & Millichap. During his time there, he focused on the purchase and sale of investment medical and general office buildings throughout the State of Texas. He advised clients on matters of acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, operations, development, and financing, and provided valuations on over $275 million in real estate assets. Before his time at Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Ryan was a Landman, working for Chesapeake Energy Corporation and others. He also worked as a mediator for the Supreme Court of Oklahoma.

Mr. Ryan is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Tarrant County Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit, One of a Kindness.
